Dear Dr. Heller,
This week states received DCL-02-23 entitled "Data Reliability Audit Requirements for the Fiscal Year 2002 Reporting Period". There are additional data elements being requested for FY2002. While some states can easily meet these new data requirements others cannot, particularly given the short timeframe before the data is due. On behalf of the IV-D Directors I am requesting that you withdraw the new requirements and allow states to report using the data audit requirements for Fiscal Year 2001.
